Phil Harmonic Showhouse - Oakwood, Ohio
-
This room was inspired by Audrey Hepburn. The room was used by the homeowners as a bedroom however my design was to create a home theatre. I decided to make the color splash the walls and keep the furniture on a neutral palette. The sofa was a leather dark chocolate, lightly tufted sectional. Accented with a large round tufted vintage linen ottoman. There was a small alcove in the room so my design consisted of a wine bar. In the wine bar was a vintage drop leg table and a large floor mirror to open the space. Accents included two mercury pendant lights directly above the table, creating a vintage yet modern space. This room was completed on a budget of $12,000.00 which included several custom made pieces and reclaimed barnwood furniture. The painting was done by Sherwin Williams and was not part of the budget. (Design Time was Included in this budget) -
Autumn Woods Clubhouse - Miamisburg, Ohio (Edward Rose Company)

This project was for a clubhouse remodel in Miamisburg, Ohio for an apartment complex. The clubhouse was stuck in an 80's style. Dark wood beams and carpet throughout. The furniture was outdated and the place just needed a little pick me up. My design consisted of a casual modern but keeping the feeling of "the woods". The walls were a neutral grey and putty color and I accented the rooms with burnt orange, lime greens and burnt reds. The place turned AMAZING! This project consisted of a very large main clubhouse area, kitchen, reading nook, fitness center, fireplace room, 3 office areas, a main hallway and his/her bathrooms. It was completed on a budget of $18,000.00 for all the spaces that were designed. This included all the furniture and lighting. The budget did not include the paint, counter tops or flooring. |

Autumn Woods One Bedroom Model - Miamisburg, Ohio (Edward Rose Company)
Along with the clubhouse remodel at Autumn Woods Apartments, the design also includes a one bedroom model. This one bedroom consists of 550 livable square feet. My goal was to create a living, dining, office area, bedroom, a full bath and kitchen all within a 550sft apartment. I was able to design the space with all that included. I went with a casual modern again but mixed in some nice traditional pieces as well. The walls were a beautiful apple green but with a tint of brown. In the bathroom I used a soft gold and then accented that with white and sepia artwork. It really turned out fabulous! Click here to see the full before and after pictures!
This project had a budget of $3,500.00 and for the design on a dime client, it turned out AMAZING! This included all the paint, furniture, lighting and accents. Because it was a model the budget included pots and pan, kitchen utensils, bathroom towels and much more. The one bedroom apartment is about 550 square feet. |
